Receiving awards from m4music Swiss Music Industry Summit and receiving acclaim since his debut EP ‘Groove With Me’ in 2021, the self-produced uniqueness of SENTO has been an enticing new prospect since he first emerged.
The Swiss-Norwegian artist most recently unveiled his second EP ‘Delirium’, taking audiences on a journey across genres that encapsulate the sounds of SENTO. Each track puts a new core in its arrangement, with some tracks taking an electronic-influenced new school funk-jazz style and others dabbling in high-energy pulsating house music. Each one is euphoric in its sound, driven by sleek grooves and pulsating rhythms, then laced with ethereal melodies and joyous vocal performances. With each new listen, you are able to peel back another layer of the arrangement, slowly revealing the deep intricacies of SENTO’s composition.
SENTO adds, ”This record encapsulates a state that I feel not only I, but many other people of my generation experienced in these last couple of years after the pandemic; A constant shift between depression and euphoria, a feeling of transience that somehow feels tragical and relieving at the same time. I found the term "Delirium" to be quite matching for that state. The project also touches on personal topics such as addiction, vices, heartbreak, love and friendship.”
