As a singer-songwriter with his own distinct voice and vision, Wirral's own Shaun Lewis is looking to make some serious waves with his debut EP 'SL EP 1'. Shaun, who has single-handedly crafted his sound, has been hard at work developing a musical identity that is both innovative and rooted in the raw energy of rock 'n' roll.
Recorded at Crash Studios in Liverpool and at Tony Coram’s old house, 'SL EP 1' is the result of Shaun's relentless pursuit of invigorating guitar grooves and pulsing rhythms. Drawing inspiration from life's emotional spectrum, Shaun has crafted four powerful tracks that showcase his ability to turn intense personal experiences into music that resonates deeply.
The EP kicks off with an explosive energy, reflecting Shaun’s belief that "nobody is writing this music at the moment." He brings a fresh, uncompromising approach to his aesthetic, aiming to fill the void left by a genre that he feels has been neglected in recent years.
