Shrimp Eyes return with 'Good Things', the first glimpse into their upcoming 'Wondering' EP, a shimmering psych-pop journey that finds the band stepping into a lusher, more refined sonic world without losing the charm of their DIY roots.

Out later this autumn, 'Wondering' EP marks the band’s first time recording in a professional studio, enlisting producers Conor Kearney (Home Counties) and Felix Bushe (Gengahr) to help evolve their sound. The result is a four-track collection that preserves their wonky, nostalgic indie DNA while unlocking new levels of clarity and groove. Imagine Bloc Party via King Gizzard with a touch of early Foals, then soften the edges and let the sun in.

Lead single 'Good Things' is an ode to quiet surrender and the gentle bravery of trusting the unknown. Built around a loose, lilting synth motif, the track drifts between lo-fi haze and broken-beat precision, all anchored by soulful bass and soft, spacious vocals. It’s both meditative and melodic, the kind of song that feels like it’s gently unfolding in real time.
