Something Moves offers up his captivating debut LP 'The Sadface Album'

After originally forming the project with a group of friends in 2021, artist and producer Chris Briden quickly began to establish the Something Moves venture for himself. Cultivating and developing a broad range of technicolour outings over the last few years, he now looks to highlight his efforts to date with the release of his stunning debut LP 'The Sadface Face'.

Having already named the likes of Radiohead, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and CSNY as influences on here, those inspirations come across loud and clear throughout his initial full-length. Creating this wonderfully rich and immersive atmosphere that spreads across the record's twelve cuts, 'The Sadface Album' sits as a beautifully composed and conceived release, brimming with fresh and inventive ideas from beginning to end.

While it may be his only piece of material to date, the Something Moves project has this brilliantly innovative ideal that feels like it has been working towards something for many years now. With a sound far more matured and assured than his years would lead us to believe, 'The Sadface Album' already feels like the beginning of something extremely special on the horizon.

Enjoy 'The Sadface Album' below.
