Brothers Brendan and Michael Etherington are the masterminds behind Square Dance Caller. As a live outfit, the acquired the help of Gumbaynggirr-hailing Mat Hooler on keys and James Manning on bass. Live, Square Dance Caller produce an electric show that will be sure to leave an impression.
The band are back with an irresistible new single entitled “Somebody Like You." Featuring groovy instrumentation and catchy vocals, the track is sure to pick you up and pull you in. Accompanying is a powerful performance music video.
Speaking about the single, Brendan says: “I think we have all had somebody in our lives either romantically, or platonically, who's a bit older or more mature and who seems so cool and confident. We either lusted after them or wished we had them in our corner teaching us all their moves. That's what this song is all about.”
