Sunny Rae Keller shares new single ‘Carry You On’ ahead of debut album

California-born songwriter Sunny Rae Keller has released her new single 'Carry You On', offering the latest introduction to her forthcoming debut album 'Pocket'.

Throughout, the track centres on family, caregiving and the ways relationships shape people across generations. Keller wrote the song during a residency at Château Orquevaux in France while spending time with her mother.

The piece was inspired by conversations about her family history, including her mother, adoptive grandmother and biological grandmother. Musically, the song is led by fingerpicked acoustic guitar, restrained percussion and Keller’s understated vocal delivery.

Now based between Paris and Los Angeles, she is preparing to release 'Pocket', with 'Carry You On' providing an early indication of the reflective folk direction of the project.
