It's not often you get a trip back to the 80s in a back to the future mould, but these two outstanding creatives have somehow managed to create a time portal and soundscape for this escape.
Belgian producer SYNTRONIX and Barcelona based vocalist LAU have created a formidable partnership to releases their new single 'Never', and it's everything you could want from a love wrenching ballad; aching synths and ethereal, heart wrenching vocals, making for an addictive and potent pop sound.
'Never gonna give up on this love' are the bellowing lyrics from LAU in the chorus, and it speaks volumes, especially with the torment and sorrows of the past year or so. You can almost feel the hurt and desperation in her vocals, and the drowning synth lines and drum pads expand the song sonically into a whole new place of feelings and emotions. We sincerely hope to see more of this amazing duo very soon.
