It’s clear that Tay Toe’s music fully represents him and his emotions. Starting off, he wrote music purely to find solace within, starting out with just a USB microphone. However this hasn’t gone away. Even with a growing fanbase, Tay Toe still manages to pour his heart and soul into his music. His latest drop “Habits and Setbacks” showcases this.
The mixtape is a 11-track offering that is sure to immerse the listener into Tay Toe’s musical world. Tracks such as “Meet Again” fully showcase his unique and signature sound. They come with a musical melting pot of heartwarming synths, understated drums and emotion-drenched bars. However tracks such as “What You Deserve” are slightly more hard-hitting with atmospheric synths working hand in glove with his infectious bars.
Speaking about the mixape, he reveals: “I worked very hard on this release. I cared about the sound so much and I wanted my fans to notice the extra work that I put into this album. I knew if I took my time with the instrumentals, recording, and audio engineers. That I could make something special. No it's not perfect, but I'm happy with how it turned out. This was just a beautiful warm up. My next album is going to be a perfect masterpiece.”
Tay Toe has been writing music for 10 years now, and he’s managed to become a versatile artist with his own unique sound. Tay Toe still creates music for his own entertainment, but it’s now made for other people to find solace in also.
