The Altered Hours unveil reflective new single 'Such A Steal' ahead of self-titled album

Cork alt-rockers The Altered Hours return with 'Such A Steal', the third single from their upcoming self-titled album, due November 7th via Pizza Pizza Records.

Leaning into a more introspective and atmospheric tone, the track dials down the fuzz in favour of subtle tempo, layered textures and hushed intensity. Written in a single creative burst, 'Such A Steal' captures frontman Cathal Mac Gabhann’s fixation with rhythm and emotional immediacy.

Following earlier singles 'Turn Away' and 'Lay There With You', this latest cut continues the band’s evolution, still grounded in shoegaze and garage-rock grit, but now shining with a quieter, deeper glow.
