Recorded live at the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Lookin’ For Trouble marks a powerful return for The Dead Daisies, this time with a deep dive into the heart of blues. Fuelled by the same fire that’s defined their decade-long career, the band reimagines ten classic tracks with gritty authenticity and hard-rock swagger.
Lead single “Crossroads” pays tribute to Robert Johnson’s iconic Delta blues tale, while follow-up track “Boom Boom” injects John Lee Hooker’s barroom anthem with fresh, riff-driven energy. Their blistering take on “Black Betty,” the album’s standout focus track, channels the song’s working blues roots into a thundering, modern rock anthem.
With producer Marti Frederiksen at the helm and sessions cut live in studio, Lookin’ For Trouble is raw, reverent, and relentless; a love letter to the genre that birthed rock ‘n’ roll. Out now on all platforms.
