Ever since they first emerged more than two decades ago, Milwaukee-based duo The Pulltops have been on a sensational journey. Turning out a flurry of fresh and powerful offerings as often as possible, they look to continue those positive ideals on their driven new single 'Wide Awake'.
Arriving fresh off the back of their much-loved EP 'Between The Lines' from earlier this year, their newest outing makes for a brilliantly bold and immersive listen. Dabbling more into that atmospheric post-punk-inspired aura they have ventured to on occasion, 'Wide Awake' is a broad and soaring return, brimming with bright and emotive textures.
For a band as prolific as they are, you would expect the innovation to have dropped off a long time ago, but The Pulltops keep their adventurous nature at the forefront of this new release. With such vibrancy within its structure and production as well, it feels like the best is still yet to come from these two.
