The Violet Mine Presents New Single ‘White Night’

The Violet Mine’s latest release "White Night is a testament to their distinctive writing style with its energetic rhythm and enigmatic lyrics. It’s a catchy, hook-driven song that combines folk rock and indie pop.

Some of the surrealistic imagery of "White Night" may have their origins in a dream. In band member Meredith's dream, she was singing as she "came to pay the spirit guide" while trapped in a well. She jotted down the line as soon as she woke up, still able to hear it. The remaining lines came fairly immediately after, in a stream-of-consciousness style.

"White Night" is the lead single from their eponymous ten-track compilation, which deftly blends folk-rock components, distinctive guitar melodies, captivating synth work, and deeply personal lyrics. Their sound is rooted in the melancholy corners of existence. It is an engrossing musical journey that showcases their growth as performers. The tune demonstrates their developing songwriting and recording maturity.
