Tom Ymani releases two-track pop project ‘Amorium’
Brussels-based independent artist Tom Ymani has released ‘Amorium’, a new double single featuring the tracks “I Want You Way” and “Encore Plus”.
The two songs are linked by a shared focus on attraction, unrequited feelings and the uncertainty that can come with developing a crush on someone who may not feel the same way.
The 23-year-old artist wrote the lyrics and vocal melodies himself, while also directing the wider creative development of the project. Initial vocals were recorded at home before being re-recorded professionally in Belgium and later worked on by international collaborators.
‘Amorium’ is also accompanied by a professionally shot music video filmed in Belgium, extending the project into the visual and performance-led direction Ymani hopes to develop further.
