Robby B's latest release 'New Money', complete with a Fatman Scoop sample drawing influences from Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, and Moneybagg Yo.
'Slow Heart Attack' is the latest offering from Dublin based Good Skin, championed by BBC Introducing. A track that was "written in mid-last year, amid the riots in Ballymena, the ongoing war in Ukraine, the suffering in Gaza, and growing anxieties around AI, it explores the feeling of being overwhelmed by a constant stream of crisis and conflict" says the artist.
Next up, a collab from SUKANYA and Arashkha, coming in the shape of a glorious 3-track EP, influenced by the sounds of India, Bangladesh, Lithuania, and Reunion Island.
Raising money for charity, CALM, I AM HANDS' accomplished self-titled debut album discusses themes of grief and mental health crises that can linger in its wake. Owen shares, “Grief grabs you and pulls you down like you’re being pulled underwater. Part of the process of recovering from loss for me, at least, required a certain amount of looking backwards - I determined that I needed to fight the undertow.”
Another album to spin is 'A New Spring' from Norwegian singer-songwriter Maribelle, who has been releasing and performing for the last 15-years, including a tour of Japan. An album diving into self-belief and healing with soothing and ambitious production.
Time for 'Change' coming from Sweden, Antonio Cordua's latest single, packed with neat guitar work and coming from " frustrations about being told who I am by people close to me." From gymnastics to music, this ambitious new single is far from a stretch and shows that Antonio is building quite a reputation.
Last but not least in our track list breakdown is Moon Construction Kit whose cruising towards being one of the most consistent up-and-comers in his space. Cinematic, expansive and loaded with good vibrations, this Beach Boys inspired single, titled, Down The West Coast is packed with long-trailing reverbs, crooner vocals and from front-to-back, glorious songwriting.
