Trevy James unleashes new reggae-R&B album 'Grey in the Beard'

Over the past year, Trevy James has been moving from strength to strength as he has built up to the release of his new album. Showing his hand as a boundary-pushing creative, he has leant into reggae, R&B and beyond as he has looked to bring his cinematic reggae sound to a new generation. Now doubling down with the release of 'Grey In The Beard', James gears up as his nine-track project comes to life. Coupling groove-filled melodies with an often romantic, optimistic backbone, the release bounces back as an unmissable body of work.

Diving in, he explains, “This album is my most complete artistic statement to date. It took time to consolidate all of my different musical roles, influences, and visions into the style I was meant to create. My 2018 EP and 2020 LP were about taking the reins of my own life within music and never giving up on my dreams.”
