US Artist Lánre Uncovers Infectious New Single “LA”

Atlanta artist Lánre returns with his brand-new single, “LA”. The fast-rising artist has been going from strength to strength since dropping his debut EP, In My Dreams, last year. “LA” arrives fresh on the heels of previous release “Somebody New (graymattr Remix)”, which was supported by BBC Radio, and with his audience continuing to grow with each release, “LA” looks set to be Lánre’s biggest single to date.

With its vibrant, catchy melodies and Lánre’s powerful vocals, “LA” proves just why Lánre has been such a hit with listeners so early on in his career and why he’s an artist to watch out for. Using clever metaphors and colourful imagery to explore what it’s like to miss a loved one, it’s a track that many will be able to relate to. Speaking further on the release, Lánre says, “‘LA’ is a song concept that I’ve been developing for almost a year now. It wasn’t until I heard this beat by my producers, Mileage and Keychange, that I knew it was time to go all out on it. I’m so blessed to now be at a place in my career that I feel that different opportunities are bringing me to big industry hubs like LA and NYC.

“I wrote this song from the perspective of one of my loved ones from my home in Atlanta, or maybe even Atlanta itself, to remind me to always stay grounded and humble. No matter where my career takes me, I can’t forget who I am and where I come from. As grateful as I am to be living my life-long dream of making music, there is way more to life than just this, so this is me reminding myself of that fact in a sort of inception-like way.”

It’s clear from “LA” that Lánre is artistically at the top of his game and surely has a huge future ahead. And the most exciting part – he’s still only really just getting started. Expect to see and hear plenty more from Lánre over the next year as he continues his impressive rise and unveils more music.

“LA” is available to buy/stream now on all platforms.
