vincethealien shares final EP preview ‘Elongated Time’
LA artist vincethealien has released “Elongated Time”, the fourth and final single ahead of a forthcoming EP due in the new year.
The track explores how grief, heartbreak and past relationships can continue resurfacing long after the original experience has passed. Musically, it combines alternative pop with industrial and electronic elements, using synths, strings, electric keys and MPC programming to create a dark, repetitive atmosphere.
The song developed from writing centred on memory, shame, longing and trauma before creative partner MOTTRON supplied a minimal instrumental that matched the same emotional tone.
vincethealien describes the track as an attempt to accept the fact that healing does not follow a fixed timeline.
The upcoming EP will collect all four singles released during the current campaign alongside additional new material, bringing this phase of the project to a close.
