French artist WST returns with "Bloom", a moody, magnetic track that sits somewhere between intense melancholy and unapologetic ego trip. Carried by dark, airy production and WST’s hypnotic vocal delivery, the song unfolds like a late-night confession set to a beat, equal parts vulnerable and self-assured.
Bloom is the first taste of WST’s three-track EP Saphir, released earlier this year. The project dives into nights that spiral between frenzied dances and broken hearts; a whirlwind of hyperpop sparkle, digicore edge, and the glossy textures of plug’n’b. Entirely self-produced in Rennes (France), the EP is a love letter to the chaos and beauty of emotional extremes.
Raised by music-loving parents and a singer father, Suzon — the voice and vision behind WST — began her journey at nine, experimenting with everything from rock and blues to dancehall before launching her solo rap/R&B project in 2020. Her debut mixtape Contre-Nuit and EP Des Ronds dans l’Aube set the tone for a career defined by emotional honesty and musical experimentation.
