I first heard this song in the movie Coda, and I immediately fell in love with it. Something about it is just so intriguing to me. I absolutely love the lyrics and how they evolve each chorus. This
song makes me feel like there’s so much left to learn about life. The melody is so simple, yet
genius. It gets me hooked immediately. It’s also just such a fun song to sing along to and it’s so easy to get lost in it. I feel like I get swept away into another world whenever I listen to this song.
3. Jack Johnson - Better Together
This song makes me so happy. It’s so peaceful and authentic. It inspires me to appreciate and hold on to my loved ones as tight as possible. The raw instrumentation is beautiful and makes me appreciate this song so much more. I love Jack Johnson. His sound is so real, and he is such a talented musician. I love the chill, uplifting vibe of this song, and I’m obsessed with the lyrics. They make me feel alive.
4. Phoneboy - Nevermind (feat. Justin Magnaye)
I recently discovered Phoneboy and this song. When I first heard it a couple months ago, I could not get it out of my head! It’s so catchy! I love the energy of this song and the overall beat. I never thought I would like this type of music, but turns out I do! It’s so fun to just let it all out and sing your heart out with this song. The melody is super captivating, and I love the rock band feel! This song always comes up on my playlist, and I listen to it almost every day. I absolutely love this song! It has so much depth.
5. Indigo Girls - Closer to Fine
The Indigo Girls! I love this song so much! The chorus is unbelievably catchy and the hook is
genius! I love the lyrics of this song too. They are so authentic. I love the upbeat instrumentation and the overall feel of this song. The chord structure is absolutely perfect. It holds the song together and gives it an infectious, catchy feel. I feel energized and animated whenever I listen to this song. Forever one of my favorites!
