5 Songs I Love w/ Endie

New Orleans-based artist Endie is quickly making waves as one of hyperpop’s most compelling songwriters. Following the release of his energetic alt-pop single, 'love like that,' we caught up with him to discover what five songs most influence his sound.

1. Brakence - Venus Fly Trap

Brakence has been a staple in my playlist since 2019, whether it's his older music or his newer stuff. 'venus fly trap' was one of my favorite drops this year, and I'm super excited for his next project. This song has pulled my heart strings while being one of the catchiest songs I have ever heard. The switch up at the end ties it all together.

2. TV Girl - Not Allowed

My friend Jonas introduced me to this song, and I've been hooked ever since. This song is a representation of this summer, and how it was the best summer I've had in a long time. The song's steady energy and pace just trigger memories, and it is the best thing ever. I also absolutely love the beat, very catchy and has a lot of replay value.

3. D4vd - Romantic Homicide

I found this song on TikTok, and the raw feeling of the song really pulled me in. The vocals just have so much emotion and the beat contrasts very well. The vocal mix on the song is very pleasing to the ears as well. Overall great song and I cannot wait to see what else D4vd Releases.

4. David halo - BURY ME ALIVE

David halo never fails to deliver when it comes to quality music. This song was on my YouTube recommended, and along with the video, there was such a fun feeling to it all. This is one of the songs I like to call a "feel-good song". The production on this song and video is done very very well, which makes this song very replayable.

5. The Midnight - Avalanche

I found The Midnight around 6-7 months ago and haven't stopped listening to them since. This song shows off the Lead singer's ability to express an immense amount of emotion in his work. This is a great song to listen to when you are feeling down, or want to feel something. Alongside the emotion-filled vocals, the production is super dramatic and pulls the song altogether.
