Following the release of her track, 'Maze', we caught up with Anisha to talk about the five things she loves about her city, Austin, Texas.
The Music Scene
It’s called the “Live Music Capital of the World” because there are tons of live performances going on each night.
Tacos
Tacos are a big thing in Austin! There are so many different spots making really unique tacos so if you visit, you have to go on a taco tour.
Chill Vibe
Austin’s a really fun city but there’s just a very chill vibe. You feel like you can really slow down a little and enjoy life.
Nature
It’s a city but there’s (some) nature — Austin is known for the Barton Creek Greenbelt which has hiking trails and creeks running through. Plus there are parks and spots for kayaking.
SXSW Festival
SXSW (South by Southwest) is an annual series of conferences and festivals focusing mainly on music, film, and tech. For about 2 weeks the whole city turns into a giant party. The official passes are really expensive but there are a ton of free events and parties. It feels like a parallel reality because there’s so much going on. I’ve had some crazy SXSW adventures!
