French artist Alex Delamard, under his solo moniker a.gris, has released 'bar', the latest glimpse into his upcoming EP 'Gris', due March 27th via Géographie. The track deepens a.gris’ signature blend of organic emotion and glitchy precision, following the thread of his 2025 breakout 'Oblivion'.
'bar' is a delicate balancing act, merging acoustic intimacy reminiscent of Elliott Smith with the glossy, hyper-digital textures of the PC Music universe. Built on looping melodic fragments and charged with subtle electronic friction, the track floats between lo-fi folk and shoegaze minimalism.
a.gris is joined by vocalist Tessa Gustin, whose Auto-Tuned harmonies interlace with Delamard’s in soft, spectral dialogue. Their voices drift together through layers of digital haze, evoking the emotional complexity of artists like Alex G or Deftones, filtered through a uniquely French indie lens.
