A!MS has released the official video for “Don’t Die” featuring Dappy, bringing a visual component to a track centered on loyalty, perseverance, and the legacies people build through their work and relationships. The British-Cypriot artist presents those ideas through the phrase that anchors the chorus: “the real don’t die.”
Musically, “Don’t Die” places melodic rap and dancehall within A!MS’ self-described Global Street sound. That concept connects elements of UK street music with influences from the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, and communities scattered across the international diaspora. Dappy’s presence gives the track another clear connection to British music culture.
The song’s lyrics move between conflict and solidarity. The opening lines acknowledge threats and retaliation before asking, “Tell me where the love / Where the peace at.” Elsewhere, the song focuses on the people who remain loyal when circumstances change, particularly those who offered support long before success arrived.

“Don’t Die” is one of four additions to the forthcoming Peak Season – Deluxe. The expanded release will also include “Vibes Never Done” featuring Vanessa Bling, Tugga War, and Cool & Dre, “Baby Got Back” featuring Ivorian Doll and Michelin Shin, and a remix of “TKO” featuring Alika. Together, the additions extend the original album’s movement through dancehall, UK rap, and international club music.
