Alina Ly Returns From Hiatus With Live Recording of ‘Keep Me Warm’

Admin

Since going on hiatus over four years ago, Alina Ly makes a defiant comeback with the release of a live rendition of her acclaimed single ‘Keep Me Warm’. Bringing a sensational, heartfelt vibe back to the limelight, the bold session’s audio will hit streaming services on 22nd November.

Effortlessly oozing out of the speakers, the new live recording of ‘Keep Me Warm’ is equally as authentic as it is heartfelt. The product of just two guitarists, a pianist and the lead vocal, the track is a resounding effort for just a trio of musicians. With deep chops punctuating the record, every crevice of sonic perfection is upheld with an alluring, charismatic sentimentalism.

Speaking about the song, Ly explains, “I wrote Keep Me Warm with my guitarist, Jake Stentiford. It was our first co-write that came about one spontaneous evening, sat around in my room noodling away on our guitars. Jake came up with this beautiful guitar part that became the foundation for what I spent the rest of the night writing to, which I suppose is sort of a letter I wrote to myself at the time. For me, this song is a message about persevering through darkness, and the remembrance that we still carry light and warmth within ourselves through it all. It's a special song to us both because of the journey of its creation and the support we had releasing it.
