Alisa Stepura is back as she unveils her latest album 'Birds are Dinosaurs Too', as she looks to make waves as a rising alternative icon. Taking cues from the likes of The Subways and Arctic Monkeys, the release sees Stepura bring a new layer of cool to the limelight, brimming with big riffs and unforgettable melodies.

Also included on the album is the track 'Aftertaste', the latest single to be taken from the record. Navigating alt-rock with an authantic feel and raspy vocals, the single hones in on everything that should be celebrated of guitar music.

Giving her take on the single, Alisa explains, I initially recorded the whole song on reel-to-reel tape. Pretty much everything but the vocals and the synth section at the end comes straight from those tape recordings and was later mixed to sound more modern. It was incredibly fun to use all kinds of "old-school" equipment, and also to distance myself from the computer during the recording process.”
