Rising indie talent Ana Paz continues to impress with the release of her latest EP ‘surrender’. Merging genres of indie pop, ambient, chamber pop, and downtempo, ‘surrender’ delves into themes of grief, combining her ethereal vocals with hypnotic synth loops, intricate drum patterns, and introspective lyricism.

This collection captures a journey through early grief, beginning with what’s left to say, a cathartic outpouring of anger and unmet expectations, followed by still here, a tender acceptance of what remains and a conscious choice to move forward, and concluding with where time stops, a contemplative return to cherished memories that offers peace through remembrance.

“These songs held me through different phases as I processed grief in various forms—from losing my grandmother to grieving unlived versions of myself. The project became a narrative arc, a way of understanding and transforming pain,” she shared.
