Ash Molloy shares her vibrant new single 'About Me'

Having already made a serious mark on the new music scene this past year, Toronto's Ash Molloy is continuing her upward ascent once again to deliver her vibrant new single 'About Me'.

Bringing back more of that raw and driven pop-rock aesthetic she is known for, 'About Me' makes for a dazzling return to form for her. With her breathtaking vocal performance soaring across an anthemic production throughout, she is returning to us with one of her more impactful efforts to date here.

Speaking about the new release, she said, "This song is about me figuring out I’m attracted to women. I’ve had 'About Me' written for a few years, but was always afraid to share it because I didn’t know what people would think for a lot of reasons. I contemplated not telling people what it was about."

Shedding light on the often misunderstood dynamics of love and loss between women, she continues, "for the music video, I really wanted to play off of what happens to a lot of girls who are attracted to girls - the homoerotic friendship. When you and another girl are like attached at the hip and then the friendship ends in fire and flames and neither of you know why until later... Hey! We were in love that was actually a breakup!"
