Bad Self Portraits aren’t here to gently unpack the past, they’re here to burn it down. With their latest single “All Bark No Bite”, the Omaha-based band deliver a visceral punch of alt-rock catharsis, confronting childhood trauma with raw honesty and amps dialled all the way up.
Frontwoman Howell's vocals flicker between direct rage and numbed-out introspection, creating a tension that never quite resolves, and that’s the point. The track doesn’t build to a clean explosion but smoulders into something darker and more enduring.
Following the haunting “Pensive,” this second single from their upcoming debut I Think I’m Going to Hell solidifies BSP’s intent to make music that doesn’t flinch. Paired with a pre-release vinyl strategy via Buy Before You Stream, they’re crafting something built to last.
