With its heels rooted in Americana, 'Mr Fly' peers its head as something much more than that, retracing the steps of alt-pop and indie in the process. Penned about our fragile place in the world as mere mortals, the release confronts some of life's biggest unanswered questions.

Diving into the release, Bog Witch explains, ”‘Mr. Fly’ is a nod to Emily Dickinson’s reflections on mortality. It's a one-sided discussion with a housefly. But it's also a meditation on life, death, and co-dependence. There's a bit of dark humour in lines like, ‘You’re ugly and you don’t care / if nobody wants you there’ or ‘One small slip, and we’re dropping like flies.’”
