From London’s pavements to global stages, Cam Cole has always been a force of nature, a one-man band whose primal energy and fearless musicianship have made him one of modern rock’s most distinctive voices. With his new single “Rabbit (She’s What I Want)”, the first glimpse of his forthcoming fourth album Lost In Creation (due February 2026), Cole pushes his sound into trippier territory, fusing his trademark blues grit with the kaleidoscopic swirl of 1960s psychedelia.

Written during a rare pause between North American tours, “Rabbit (She’s What I Want)” captures Cole in a freer, more experimental mode. The song’s hypnotic slide riffs and hazy atmospherics conjure the spirit of The Beatles’ late-era studio explorations while maintaining the raw, dirt-under-the-fingernails immediacy that defines his work. It’s a sound at once earthy and otherworldly, the blues reimagined through a psychedelic lens.

“I stumbled on the riff while writing in a warehouse between tours,” Cole shares. “The chorus came from imagining the perfect woman to fall in love with. When it all came together, it was this weird, out-there blend of 60s psych-rock and USA slide blues. I hadn’t written anything like it before.”

Cole’s story is one of grassroots grit and global reach. From dodging fines as a London busker to selling out venues across continents, he’s built a career on authenticity and connection. Along the way, his music has found new life in unexpected places, from an appearance in Ted Lasso to a soundtrack slot in Rightmove’s 2025 UK campaign, and even a feature in the Amazon Prime documentary American Mileage.

With “Rabbit (She’s What I Want)”, Cam Cole marks the beginning of a bold new chapter. It’s looser, wilder, and drenched in the kind of analogue warmth that makes you want to turn off the world and just drift. As he heads into his European tour and prepares for Lost In Creation, one thing’s clear: Cam Cole isn’t just keeping rock alive, he’s reinventing it, one riff at a time.
