Fresh off the heels of their critically acclaimed collaborative EP 'Songs From A Celestial City' with Reggie Watts, LA-via-Austin dance/electronic trio CAPYAC are back with a groove-laden new single 'U Know Y'. Fuelled by an infectious bassline, hypnotic lyrical loop, and a euphoric house beat, the track is a shot of pure sonic adrenaline—designed to shake off the monotony of everyday life.

Written by band members Delwin, Eric, and Obie, 'U Know Y' draws influence from Detroit and French house while delivering a quirky philosophical undercurrent that only CAPYAC could conjure. The band explains:

“When the first lung-bearing fish grew legs and crawled up on that barren igneous surface 375 million years ago, surely it felt in its toes (at that time, a sort of fin-like proto-toe) how the lichen growing on the rough and porous lava rock softened its step… We are all Tiktaalik, living in a hostile world we are barely adapted for, grateful for every patch of wet moss we can find. Anyways, this song is about that.”
