Nashville-based singer-songwriter Caroline Romano has unveiled 'Not Used to You', the central track from her new six-song EP 'it took me falling'.
The song was the first written for the project and helped establish both its emotional direction and musical style. Co-written with Todd Tran, Sam Varga, and Michael Van Wagoner, the track reflects the uneasy feeling that can arise when someone who has experienced repeated heartbreak begins to encounter a healthy relationship.
Through reflective lyrics and atmospheric production, Romano explores the uncertainty of trusting something that feels different from past experiences. The song captures the tension between expecting disappointment and allowing yourself to believe things might finally work out.
