Nashville-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Caroline Romano returns with her powerful new single 'Born To Want More'. The track is the latest preview of her highly-anticipated upcoming EP 'How The Good Girls Die', slated for early 2025.
Building on recent hits like 'Body Bag' and 'Pretty Boys', 'Born To Want More' sets the stage for an EP that promises to push creative boundaries and solidify Caroline’s unique voice in the alt-pop scene. The song begins with an intimate, stripped-back guitar and Caroline’s emotionally raw vocals, gradually swelling into a frenzied indie-rock soundscape. The result is a candid anthem of yearning, resilience, and the ache of reaching for dreams that remain just out of reach.
Reflecting on the inspiration behind the song, Caroline explains, “I wrote Born to Want More during a time when I was grappling with a series of ‘almosts.’ It’s about that wits-end feeling, wondering if you’ll ever find what you’re looking for. It’s chasing something you know exists but haven’t yet found. It’s by far one of my most vulnerable songs, and it’s one of my favourites for that reason.”
