Brighton alt-pop duo CATBEAR are back with 'Who Cares?', their first release of 2025, a vibrant synth-driven track that fuses nostalgic textures with raw emotional insight.

Known for their DIY approach and close-knit collaboration, best friends Zoe and Sarah channel the sonic spirit of 80s and 90s alt-pop into a song that pulses with restless energy. But behind the shimmering production and punk-leaning edge, 'Who Cares?' dives into the quietly chaotic loop of social anxiety.

“It’s that quiet panic before you’ve even left the house,” says Zoe. “You want to go out and be part of things, but you’re already working out how long you have to stay before it’s okay to leave.”

Uplifting on the surface but quietly defiant underneath, 'Who Cares?' is a feel-good anthem for anyone who’s ever overthought showing up.
