Charlie Vaughan returns with dreamy new single 'Don’t Wanna Drive'

North London singer-songwriter Charlie Vaughan is back with his latest single 'Don’t Wanna Drive', a hazy, guitar-led track that blends melodic simplicity with a sense of urgency.

The release follows a busy period on the road, where Vaughan supported The Backseat Lovers and Hamilton Leithauser across the UK and Europe. He is set to continue his live run this April, joining FEET for shows in Milton Keynes and Birmingham, alongside a headline release show at London’s Paper Dress Vintage.

'Don’t Wanna Drive' pairs stripped-back songwriting with a punchy rhythm section and echoing, psychedelic textures. Originally conceived as a more laid-back composition, the track evolved through live performance, gaining a faster pace and more driving energy.
