Austin alternative rock trio Dining with Devils have returned with their latest release, 'The One Below', a heavy, groove-focused track shaped by the band’s love of grunge and desert rock.

Originally sparked by a riff brought into rehearsal, the song developed through live improvisation before evolving into its final form. Thick guitar tones, forceful rhythms and a raw vocal performance give the track a direct, unfiltered energy that reflects the band’s live dynamic.

Lyrically, 'The One Below' examines ideas surrounding morality, perception and the pressure to always appear virtuous. Frontman James draws from personal experiences to explore the contradictions that can exist beneath outward appearances.

Dining with Devils continue to position themselves as a band focused on authenticity over trend-chasing, with a sound informed by classic rock, alternative metal and 90s heavy music.

The release arrives as the group prepares for a series of Austin performances, including shows at Valhalla ATX, Crow Bar and an album release event at Far Out Lounge.

LIVE DATES

May 19 – Valhalla, Austin

May 29 – Crowbar, Austin

June 4 – Far Out Lounge, Austin (Album Release Show)
