Double Major shines on dance-laden anthem ‘RKR’

Explaining the creative processes behind the single, Major explains, “I wanted to bring back the spirit of disco that was so present in the 70s and 80s in South Asia and combine it with the power of synth bass and dance music that Berlin is so deeply connected to. It is an attempt for me as an artist to reconnect with my Pakistani identity in the language, and create something new with that in combination with my growth as a musician here in Berlin.”
