Berlin-based Norwegian artist EERA (Anna Lena Kristen) shares her shimmering new single 'I’ll stop when I’m done', the second preview from her upcoming third album of the same name, out 26th September via Test Card Recordings.

Following the Lauren Laverne 6 Music-premiered 'Forget Her', this new track finds EERA weaving glistening electronics and dreamlike haze into a hypnotic, breathy refrain: “I’m just trying to find someone to love.” Inspired by Marilyn Monroe’s famous quote — “I don’t stop when I’m tired, I only stop when I’m done” — the song delves into Monroe’s dual existence: the relentless pursuit of the spotlight and the quiet ache for unconditional love.

“I wanted to write from her perspective,” EERA explains. “She had to prove herself over and over but deep down, she just wanted someone to love her no matter what. Someone who would always stay by her side.”

The accompanying video, directed by Jamie She, playfully explores this duality. EERA appears as an obsessive collector surrounded by endless Marilyn memorabilia, reflecting the icon’s eternal entrapment and yearning for connection.
