Hailing from Norwich, Floral Image are a band with a unique and infectious sound. Combining psychedelic influences with pop, the group’s sound has been received warmly by fans and tastemakers alike. Their loyal fanbase has sold out gigs around the country for them, and the likes of Huw Stephens and Jamz Supernova have championed the band on radio.
Their latest single comes in the form psychedelic-tinged offering “Gallipoli.” The single features thundering drums, overdrive drenched guitars and infectious bass lines. Vocals are irresistible and ebb and flow between the textually diverse instrumentation. Accompanying the track is an equally impactful music video that will be sure to immerse you in a similar way.
Speaking about the single, they share: “Gallipoli is the most chaotic tune yet; full of ferocious hooks and racing krautrock rhythms, the track thrives off the kinetic pandemonium of its performers and anti-imperialist message. Imagine a particularly disgruntled late 60’s Doors recording in a down-trodden garage somewhere in Berlin, and you’ll find something close to the sound of this raucous record.”
“Gallipoli” comes in anticipation of “E.P So Synthesised.” If the single is anything to go off, the E.P is sure to blow us away. With an irresistible live show, they’re not a band to miss.
