Graeme Releases ‘Lasting Dream’: A New Chapter in His Illustrious Career with Cabin Fever Orchestra

Acclaimed composer Graeme, whose music has graced over 1,000 television episodes and 40 series, is proud to announce the release of his latest single, “Lasting Dream.” This release marks a significant milestone in his innovative project, Cabin Fever Orchestra.

With a career spanning nearly two decades, Graeme’s work is instantly recognizable to audiences around the globe. He has crafted the musical landscapes for beloved shows such as Paw Patrol, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, and the Total Drama series. His versatility extends beyond television, having composed scores for major documentaries by BBC and National Geographic, as well as contributing to high-profile Triple AAA video games. Recognized as one of the world’s most heard composers, Graeme's contributions have been honored with numerous awards, including multiple SOCAN and BMI awards over the past five years.

His collaborative efforts at Voodoo Highway Music & Post have seen many of their productions win Emmy awards, and in 2020, Graeme and his team celebrated their second Canadian Screen Award.

Cabin Fever Orchestra is a new creative frontier for Graeme. Unlike traditional music composition for visual media, this project sees him flipping the process by crafting visual art that is inspired by his music. Graeme found inspiration for the track after watching Pixar’s Up and was particularly moved by the ‘Married Life’ montage. The song, performed in a singer-songwriter style, was a rare creation that came to life effortlessly, capturing a deep emotional resonance.

This release is particularly special as it is the first time Graeme lends his own vocals to a Cabin Fever Orchestra track. Finalized as a tribute to his parents on their 50th wedding anniversary, “Lasting Dream” is enriched by Graeme's heartfelt performance on piano and vocals, with the added emotional depth of world-class violinist Drew Jurecka.
