Australian Pop trio H3RIZON are back with their new single 'SERIOUS', a catchy, fun and extremely polished track sure to gain commercial success. Accompanied by a super high quality video that it's easy to imagine on MTV, the three piece seem as though they are well on their way to stardom.
Keeping things simplistic yet impactful, 'SERIOUS' is built around processed vocal samples, driving beats and dappled simplistic vocal lines before hitting it's ear-worm chorus. Bernie, Taya & Gabby share the vocal duties, showcasing their sparkling ability while intermittently layering up harmonies as the track ebbs and flows through it's various sections. Akin to the likes of Pop giants Little Mix, the trio's ability to create joyful, accessible pop music is something to be admired.
Speaking on the new single and video Taya said: “Every time we post a video or write a song, I imagine the moment it’s being viewed or listened to.. Mental health is an issue close to my heart, so we hope our art takes that person to another place, somewhere far away from the mundane, far away from any pandemic, from un-paid bills, from life struggles.. even if it’s just for a minute!”
Having built up huge followers across social media, the trios management 'MOFO Music' have now partnered with 'blockplay', a newly launched digital label which aims to see artists make money via a series of NFTs. Innovating the way they release music, the three piece are already making waves and with the new single setting the tone for the rest of the year, H3RIZON are surely set to become household names in the near future.
