Riding high on her previous release ‘Call Back Home’ earlier in the summer, Harry Pick unveils her latest rebellious power anthem ‘Just a Crush’. Expanding her invigorating back catalogue, Pick looks set to sail into 2024 with a defiant might, pushing her further into the limelight.
Swirling electronic textures bring the track out of its shell whilst a fresh arpeggio and defiant vocal line quickly take centre stage. Bringing polished hooks with infectious earworms, the track slowly rises into a punchy climax. Atmospheric layers come crashing down on the single's sweeping melodies, elevating the track as an anthem that encapsulates the hedonism of youth whilst championing the next generation of songwriting.
Diving into the anthem, she explores, “Just a Crush delves into the complexities of attraction - feeling those urges for connection but wrestling with the idea of holding back. It was a fun shift to create this after my previous release‘Call Back Home’ which was a bit more intense and angry, instead of offering a lighter and more playful energy and sound!”
