Returning with her first album since 2018's 'Blue Lifeblood', Heleen is back with the release of her new album 'Sapiens Unlimited'. Taking a deep dive into the history of humankind, the album explores just exactly what it means to be human, and how we as a kind haven't changed.
Consisting of twelve emphatic tracks, each taking on a vivid imagination of their own, the album weaves together blues, folk and rock to give it an earthy, almost jazz-like, undertone. Since 2002, Heleen has performed in over fifteen countries and looks to leave a lasting legacy with her contemporary soundscapes and introspective lyricism.
She dives into the release, "Sapiens Unlimited may be my masterpiece so far. Reading our early history as human beings was sort of coming home, understanding what makes us human 10,000, 100,000 or even a million years later! We haven't changed a bit to be honest, we’re still the deadliest species of all”
