Dublin-based solo artist Isidore has shared his vibrant new single ‘No Time, All The Time’, released June 6th. The track is a dynamic blend of jangly indie-pop and raw, introspective songwriting, with Isidore—aka Conor Fagan—bringing a fresh yet emotionally resonant energy to Ireland’s alt-folk scene.
Combining bright guitar lines, tight, minimalist drums, warm bass, and the delicate shimmer of glockenspiel, the track radiates a youthful, carefree spirit. But beneath the surface lies a deeper sense of yearning, driven by Fagan’s impassioned, Dylan-tinged vocal performance and introspective lyricism.
Speaking about the single, Isidore explains: “It’s a song about longing, in this case, for time or for love—both just out of reach. There’s a sort of quiet frustration in knowing something is right there, yet still feeling unable to hold on to it.” The sentiment is summed up in the striking opening line, “I saw the sunlight through the window,” capturing the feeling of seeing something clearly but being separated from it by an invisible barrier. The urgency in the vocal delivery mirrors this emotional tension, creating a compelling contrast with the track’s otherwise breezy instrumentation.
At just 23, Fagan has already carved out a distinct sound, sitting comfortably at the crossroads of indie-rock and folk, with nods to influences like The Strokes, The National, and Bob Dylan. His work has found early support on RTE, Raidió na Life, and Dublin City FM, while live appearances—including Ireland Music Week and supporting sets at Whelan’s—have cemented his growing presence on the Irish music scene.
‘No Time, All The Time’ is a strong showcase of Isidore’s ability to marry storytelling with texture, mood with melody. It’s a track that feels both immediate and enduring—an indie gem with the emotional depth of a seasoned songwriter.
