After a string of standout singles that marked her as one to watch on the Americana-folk circuit, rising singer-songwriter Jess Kerber today unveils her long-anticipated debut album 'From Way Down Here', accompanied by the introspective new focus track, 'Tropical Storm'.

'Tropical Storm' is a gentle yet affecting exploration of emotional transience, how feelings, especially in youth, arrive with force and then drift just as suddenly. With its breezy melodies and lyrical vulnerability, the song captures a snapshot of being young, receptive, and in flux. “It’s about being open to everything,” Kerber explains. “How quickly feelings move through you when you’re little—how little time we actually spend inside of each emotion.”

Kerber’s reputation has been steadily building thanks to tracks like 'Never Again', 'Carry My Home', 'I Wonder If I’ll Forget This', and 'Next To You'. Her ability to marry poetic storytelling with lush, organic instrumentation has drawn comparisons to contemporaries in the indie-folk and Americana scenes, while carving out a distinct voice of her own.
