Brighton’s alt-rock heroes Larlin make a striking return with their new single 'Limbo', a raw, emotionally-charged anthem that captures the agony of holding on when you know you should let go.
Fronted by Sheffield-born Maryann Hoar, the band deliver a cathartic blend of grit and grace, with verses that simmer in self-doubt and choruses that soar with desperate hope. What began as a fragile sketch at home soon exploded into life at Salvation Music Studios, with producers Cameron Nesbitt and Lewis Foord helping the band channel quiet heartbreak into defiant power.
'Limbo' is all tension and tenderness: a breakup song wrapped in a love ballad’s clothing. It captures the emotional whiplash of clinging to something you know is already fading. For a band just beginning to make an impact, Larlin sound remarkably sure of themselves, and heartbreak has rarely sounded this bold.
