Rising Manchester dark-pop artist Liv Cartier unveils her emotionally raw new single 'Golden', a striking meditation on insecurity, unreciprocated love, and the moment you realise it’s time to let go.

Set against a backdrop of intimate soundscapes and Liv’s hauntingly beautiful vocal delivery, 'Golden' captures the anxiety of clinging to something already lost. “It’s about knowing someone doesn’t love you anymore, but still trying to hold on,” she explains. “I’d convinced myself I wasn’t enough – that they deserved more. Deep down, I think I knew they’d already left.”

With lyrics like “I don’t know if I will ever feel golden, would you wait around and see?”, the track speaks to anyone who has questioned their worth in the wake of heartbreak. Vulnerable, vivid and painfully self-aware, 'Golden' marks Liv Cartier as one of the UK’s most compelling new voices.
