For a debut single, you need something that stands out from the crowd - 'Different' does exactly that. The first adventure for London based hip-hop artist Milli Jean comes in a time of need, a time when the world needs to erase the hard stigma around grime and hip-hop. Out now via Babygrande Records at the end of August, the track uses complicated rhythms and trap-infused instrumentation to convey his mission to change the genre forever.
Speaking about the release, Milli shares, “I want to change how people think of and listen to drill music. I want to erase the violent stigma around the genre and have people turn up to it instead”.
About to become a household name if the new single is anything to go by, London's finest new artist could find himself selling out the O2 in no time. Currently working on his next release with worldwide known producer M1, Milli Jean is certainly on the path to become a star.
