Lost Velvet release reflective new track 'Burnt'

Reading’s Lost Velvet have released 'Burnt', their newest single through Forbury Lion, as part of the ongoing campaign leading up to the duo’s debut album.

The song introduces a more introspective tone, driven by a steady bassline and layered guitar textures. Written and produced by Robert Butcher and Melissa Morris, the track highlights the pair’s evolving sound while maintaining the atmospheric qualities that have defined their recent work.

Mixing was completed by Michael Patterson, known for his work with a range of alternative and experimental artists, while mastering was handled by Maor Appelbaum.

'Burnt' follows the band’s earlier single 'Dark Cells', continuing to build anticipation for Lost Velvet’s first album, expected in 2026.
