Lucas Watt releases irresistible new single "All My Friends"

Lucas Watt has cemented himself as a rising star within the music industry. Coming straight off the back of his sold-out headline show in Manchester last month, Watt has quickly gathered a loyal and global audience who hang on his every move. In the past couple of years, he's refined his infectious live show by supporting the likes of Tim Gallagher, JP Cooper and The Snuts.

His latest single "All My Friends" comes as an irresistible offering. "All My Friends" features punchy drums, irresistible guitar lines and understated synth parts. On top, vocals are infectious and work hand in glove with well-penned lyrics. Whilst inspirations from Sam Fender, The 1975 and Holly Humberstone are clear, Watt has managed to forge and create his own unique and signature sound.

Speaking about the meaning behind his latest single, Lucas explains, “I wrote All My Friends at the beginning of last year whilst reflecting on the strange way relationships work in our new online world. I based the whole track around the idea of being ‘ghosted’ and how it has become normal to end relationships by simply hiding behind your phone screen and not replying to that last message. I feel the darker sonics of this new single define who I am musically, which is why ‘All My Friends’ has become the track that has inspired the sound of music I’m working on to be released later in the year.”

Lucas Watt is not one to miss - for sure.
